After playing around with standard 35mm film photography for a little while I wanted to try out medium format film photography after getting some 1950s expired Kodak 120 type films from an antique store so I bought a roll of Shanghai GP3 100 120 type film off Ebay and a vintage 1933-1950 DEHEL foldout 120 format camera and took it to Sydney with me to do some snaps while on a harbour cruise. Anyways this video is a vlog just prior to developing this film in Caffenol C which I talk about the film and the camera showing it and its features. At this point with Caffenol C developing I refined the process for consistent results following a photographer's Caffenol C Delta formula which was:
12 rounded teaspoons of instant coffee
8 leveled teaspoons of washing soda
14ml vitamin C powder
The film was to be developed for 14 to 15 minutes. The results are shown in Part 2.
